The 7 Stern Bräu is popular because it brews its 7 specialty beers right there. They use they best ingredients they can find, and that mixed with the local Viennese tap water makes the resulting beer delicious, natural, still retaining most of its nutrients and without any of those nasty preservatives.
Their 7 beers are: Wiener Helles (Viennese light), Prager Dunkles (dark), Märzen, Hanf (yes, hemp flavored beer), Chilli, Bamberger Rauchbier and their changes-with-the-seasons Bockbeer. You can get a sampler of all 7 so you can see what all the fuss is about and test out your taste buds!
Their Wiener Schnitzel is really good, but don't miss out on their Käsespätzle (a doughy, cheesy concoction with bacon served in the cast iron skillet it was cooked in - what doesn't sound good about that??) which is good to the last bite! Pair that with a Märzen, and you've got a meal to remember.
