This walking tour will take you to places in Vienna that you may not have seen or passed by without realising how fascinating they are. Explore a special time in the history of this metropolis, when a new technology was invented every day and new achievements were made. Find out what it means to be a citizen and deal with everyday problems, such as who to call if you need to go to the toilet on the street, how much you have to watch out for litter on the streets, and why the young trees on the Ring had so many problems at the beginning. Discover the rivers of Vienna! Imagine: they were not loved as they are today. We will talk about electricity, garbage collection, bad water, terrible smells and an unimaginably noisy and dense city. We will start at Schwedenplatz and end at Stadtpark. Please note that the tour will be in GERMAN. NEXT Public Tours: 27th of January, 3pm, 2nd of March, 3pm. But no worries: you can book this tour anytime! Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours. The tour takes place in all weathers, so make sure you are properly dressed.
