Pick up your bike in Vienna and begin your adventure along the 213-mile (340 km) path to Budapest. At the bike shop, learn the basics of bike safety, choose your perfect bike, and get a helmet and Ortlieb bike bags. Once you're set-up, head out on the road. Choose your own route along the Danube and spend the next 7 days biking through the scenic countryside, stopping to explore quaint villages, and discovering romantic castles and palaces. Every night, stop overnight in a local inn or stop at campsites along the way (accommodation not included). Plan your route to suit your interests. Choose from exploring serene nature, eating at local pubs, or explore historical sites, or do all three. Once you arrive in Budapest, drop your bike and gear off at the drop-off point and discover this iconic city.
